Granite and marble countertops continue to be popular options for kitchen countertops. But what if there were a slightly different, more unique marble option? This type of countertop has a name and it is Venetian marble. There are several reasons as to why Venetian marble is advantageous.

Striking Color Options

As most people know, the kitchen is often considered the center or heart of the home. One of the first things that people notice when they walk in a kitchen is the countertop, which is why the color and design are important. The engineered Venetian marble produces a smooth color and uniformity throughout the slab. A current color that is a favorite is Tibetan Beige, whereas Vanilla Sky is a more conventional shade.

What Exactly Is It?

This kind of recycled marble goes through a process of pressurized heating that includes pigments and polymers. This process produces strong slabs of Venetian marble that are then trimmed and polished in the factory.  After this occurs, the marble is then ready for installation.

Easy Installation

Having countertops installed without even taking into account the type of countertop can often be a pain. Smooth installations aren’t always a guarantee. However, Venetian marble is typically involves an easier installation process.

Straightforward Maintenance

With Venetian marble you do not have to fret over complicated maintenance. Just simply use a wet paper towel or cloth to clean off the surface of the countertops. Quite a few minerals that are used in countertops require more substantial cleaning, but Venetian marble is not one of them. The only instance in which you would need to use a mild soap for cleaning is in the case of there being a deep stain.

Venetian marble produces an affordable and long-lasting option for kitchen countertops.  With its impressive appearance and minimal upkeep, it is easy to see why this type of marble countertop could be an excellent option.
